THE HORSE IN THE HEART OF PARIS

The sound of hooves has long resounded on the Champ de Mars, a popular place for Parisians to walk. In the good old days, superb horse races were even organized there. The site is also the site of one of the most famous battles in the history of the capital and takes its name from the god Mars, often represented on his chariot pulled by two fiery horses. An "equestrian" place by nature, the famous esplanade has nevertheless not heard the echo of horses' steps since 2014 when the Longines Global Champions Tour - Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping, brings the Horse back to one of its familiar territories.

Thanks to the City of Paris, which is hosting the Longines Global Champions Tour - Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping, this animal capable of reconciling opposites: nature and culture, strength and gentleness, animality and elegance, is regaining its central place in the heart of the city and its legitimacy. The Champ de Mars will once again welcome the four-legged champions and the world's best riders in 2023.

Make way for Sport, Culture and the French Art of Living!
