THE AMBASSADORS
CSI 5* & CSI 1* 2023

Olympic champion Pénélope Leprévost and her daughter Eden, ambassadors of the Lo ngines Global Champions Tour - Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping 2023
For its 9th edition, we have as ambassadors two emblematic female personalities of high-level sport: Olympic champion Pénélope Leprévost and her daughter, Eden. Between sport and passion for horses, the mother and daughter, both very high-level riders, perfectly embody the delicious mix of high standards, transmission and love of animals which characterizes this great equestrian event which has become unmissable.

Riders from mother to daughter
Choosing two riders with such a strong bond reminds us how carrying out family projects is a vector of joy and meaning. The tandem of female ambassadors echoes the duo formed by Virginie Coupérie-Eiffel and her sister Coco, at the head of the LPEJ organization. Pénélope Leprévost did not grow up in a family of riders and began, when her daughter wanted to follow in her footsteps, to curb her desires for fear that she would get hurt. But today, the two women have a lot of fun competing together in the same events. Eden Leprévost particularly appreciates the moments of victory shared with her mother: “It's not always easy because my mother is very demanding of me. The slightest mistake is not allowed but it pushed me to where I am today. When we share a victory or a great success, it’s happiness! ". Pénélope Leprévost also considers these moments of sharing “very pleasant” and has fun: “Eden has a goal: to do a Nations Cup with her mother, one day! ".
Proud to represent the Longines Global Champions Tour-Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping: between elegance and performance
Pénélope Leprévost evokes the pride that a French rider can feel in the face of such a beautiful event, in France, in Paris moreover and in front of the Eiffel Tower: “Being an ambassador with my daughter of this incredible competition in this magnificent place makes me very proud. » The fact that this competition is organized by women and that all the major roles in the event are played by women is also a source of pride. As for Eden, she says she is “honoured, at 18 years old, to represent this very high level competition, magnificent and founded by an admirable, strong and ambitious woman. » This year, the Olympic champion, Pénélope, hopes to achieve a good performance during the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix, at which she will appear with Bingo.
Love for the horse above all
Being an ambassador is an opportunity for the two women to remember that horses play a major role in their lives: “When we get up, we think of our horses. When we go to bed, we think of them. If we ride horses, it's because we love animals. Animal welfare is above all about knowing the animal well. » This love of horses is at the heart of the advice that Pénélope always gave to her daughter and would give to all young riders: “Have fun on horseback. Have the pleasure of taking care of your horse. Don't give up and follow your dreams. »
